Every year Marburg is celebrating the opening of the christmas market season with the Marburg b(u)y Night – a event that combines late night shopping with a very special illumination of the mediaval city center. While I leave shopping in over-crowed shops for the very addicted people, the lighting offers a perfect playground for me as a photographer. So enjoy the results of the seven hours I have spend in the freezing cold, ;-):

TERRA TECH – a Marburg based NGO – used the public interested to inform about its solarlamp project in Kenia. The project is offering families a resilient lighting alternative to dangerous, selfmade oillamps that are traditionally used. More infos you can find here (German only): TERRA TECH solar lamps
